Although universities are full of opportunities for students to get involved beyond the lecture theatre, whether it be through societies or sports clubs, taking on a domestic or international challenge is something that is completely different. Undertaking a fundraising challenge, large or small, will lead to a most unique experience that you may never get the opportunity to replicate in your lifetime.
Climbing Kilimanjaro, running a marathon, or holding your own event will be demanding on your body, but don’t forget, the physical test is only half of it! Challenging yourself to fundraise throughout your time at university will inadvertently force you to develop skills you may not have even realised you had, but that will almost certainly become very attractive to future employers!
If this were not enough, you will be securing the work of HOPE for many years to come with your extraordinary fundraising contributions!
