As a well-respected RAG within the university community, we were very keen to start working with Leeds when we met their committee at RAG Conference in September 2013. Leeds RAG prides itself on being particularly student-led in everything it does, believing that students should be given the opportunity to show what they can do – a concept that YUTL also holds strongly.
2014 will see one of the most challenging events Hope for Children has ever taken part in, and it doesn’t even require leaving the UK. On Sunday 6th April, Leeds RAG and HOPE will be attempting to break the World Record for the Most Runners Linked to Complete a Marathon, also known as Team Up & Tie Up for HOPE!

In December 2013, Rose and Amelia Medlau (RAG’s Extreme Challenges Officer) went out to Uganda to witness for themselves the inspirational work that Team Up & Tie Up will be contributing to. To read more about this trip, you can read a diary of the trip here.
